A little more Shameless Self Promotion. It is about growing up in a funeral home.

    One of my mom’s best childhood friends lived above the funeral home her father owned and operated. They’d be playing upstairs (quietly, or else!) while a body was downstairs. Not all that traumatic if you grow up with it, I guess.

    Also, a girl in my high school class became a mortician. She was always fascinated with death, and even attempted suicide our sophomore year (seriously).

    They say death is final, but then comes the bill.
