I’ve said more than once off the blog that I wish I could help out the tsunami victims. If you have read this blog for even a few days, you probably know that money isn’t growing on trees here in the Sarcastic Journalist/Two Blue Balls household.

And…someone has pointed out Blog Aid to me. I don’t have google ads. I don’t have Amazon ads.

I do know how to bake. And I plan on opening a baking business. And I plan on selling said goods on the internet.

So, hopefully, later on today, I plan on opening up temporary shop. I’ll price accordingly and whatever small proceeds I would have made will go directly to a reputable charity relief organization.

I just got home from “babysitting” my grandpa (he has had numerous strokes and falls easily) so I haven’t got things together yet.

So…if you’d like to munch on munchies for a good cause…you know where to go. I can’t do much, but I can do something.

you can also sell your goods on ebay, of course emphasizing where the profits go–depending on your state laws and such. could do it in pa (thanks to the amish!) but here in sc, you have to have a COMPLETELY separate kitchen. it’ll help get your name out for the future, too. sounds like a great idea!

sj, if you have any old clothes or blankets, sheets etc they are all needed too. I also don’t have a lot of money so I went through my kids clothes and dropped them off to a collection point over here. It’s a small thing but very appreciated by the people who have nothing except the clothes they are standing in.

You don’t know me, but I LOVE reading your blog! If you were to sell some good munchies I would be your first customer ~ Great idea!

Aww, I think that’s a great idea! Can you send food internationally anymore? I tried to send my mom some at Christmas and had a helluva time. I wonder how well it would travel? Could I ask any more questions?

I will happily buy anything that is either loaded with butter and sugar or otherwise unhealthy for me in the name of a good cause. Just point me in the right direction!
