You can tell everybody that this is your song…

I hope you don’t mind, I hope you don’t mind…that I put down into words. How wonderful life is now you’re in the world.

you’ve already won me over in spite of me
don’t be alarmed if i fall head over feet
don’t be surprised if i love you for all that you are
i couldn’t help it
it’s all your fault

you are the bearer of unconditional things
you held your breath and the door for me
thanks for your patience

you’re the best listener that i’ve ever met
you’re my best friend
best friend with benefits
what took me so long

i’ve never felt this healthy before
i’ve never wanted something rational
i am aware now
i am aware now

Aw. How cute. I remember when I became a big giant saplog too. It took me over a month to be able to listen to the radio without crying. Ain’t parental love just great? It’s an evil, fierce, maniacal, ifanythingeverhappenstothischildiwillhavetokillmyselfandeveyoneelse, angry, mean kind of love that makes you so vulnerable you could vomit. And no one warns you about it.

    Welcome to the club!

On an annoying sidenote: your site will NOT cookie me, which is lame because I’m a typepad user myself. Any ideas?
